HOW IT STARTED
Founded in 2011 by Todd and Crystal Herring, WEKA was created to address Alaska’s critical need for safe, reliable in-custody transport. Drawing on military, law enforcement, and behavioral health expertise, WEKA quickly became the gold standard for secure transports across the state. Today, we handle approximately 95% of in-custody transports for Alaska, serving locations from Anchorage to the Bush and Juneau to North Pole—ready to respond at a moment’s notice.

As WEKA grew, so did our capabilities. We built an elite team through intensive training, top-tier instructors, and highly experienced personnel. This expansion led to personal security and executive protection services for high-profile clients, corporations, and government agencies at both the state and federal levels. From protecting senior officials to securing high-value sites, WEKA is trusted for our professionalism, dedication, and versatility—and we remain committed to delivering the highest level of service.

WHAT WE EXPANDED ON
By 2023, we recognized that Alaska’s need for care extended beyond secure transport to include critical medical transportation. Guided by our commitment to safety, highly trained professionals, and a deep sense of responsibility to Alaskan families, we expanded our mission to bridge this gap statewide.
